However, you are entitled to have a rehearsal if you want one. Most celebrants (including me) do charge extra for rehearsals (currently I charge $87 for a rehearsal). I recommend that you have a rehearsal if the wedding or commitment ceremony is quite detailed and includes a number of rituals such as handfasting, offerings to the four directions, candle ceremonies and participation by a number of people.

As your celebrant, I guide you through each step through the ceremony on the day. I discuss with you the elements in the ceremony and let you know what happens (and in what order) in the ceremony. Once a booking is made, we will spend lots of time either in person or on the telephone or by email making sure that your ceremony is exactly how you want it to be and that you feel comfortable with how it will flow on the day.
